LaGrange
I spent the day with my Uncles in AL, then went to a wake for my cousin Kathy in LaGrange, GA. She was found dead on Sunday and they haven't determined her cause of death yet. She was 46 but the last time I saw her alive, which was at another funeral a few months ago, she looked 56. We spent a lot of time together when we were kids, but she started skidding off the rails as sson as she hit her teens. Her Dad tells me that she and her husband were overly fond of perscription meds, which may have been a factor in her death. Her 18-year-old daughter seems to be following in her footsteps, sadly enough.
When I got home I was surprised to find our old roommate Darren hanging out with Beau. It was good to see him. We drank some wine, had some laughs and talked about the "old days".
